Curatorial Projects
Ann Trinca is an independent curator with extensive experience organizing exhibitions for museums, nonprofit organizations, and commercial galleries. Her work is guided by a commitment to creating visually compelling environments that engage viewers and leave lasting impressions.
From 2003 to 2005, she managed the off-site gallery of the di Rosa Preserve: Art & Nature, presenting rotating exhibitions featuring artists from the di Rosa collection. She later curated the biennial MFA Selections in the di Rosa Gatehouse Gallery in 2010 and 2012. In 2007, Ann co-founded a pop-up gallery and creative retail space in Napa with photographer Norma I. Quintana, supporting local artists and hosting community arts events.
In 2013, she was invited by the Napa Valley Museum to curate the inaugural Napa Valley Collects exhibition, which showcased works from notable regional collectors including Margrit Mondavi, Francis Ford and Eleanor Coppola, and Norman and Norah Stone.
Recent curatorial projects include Echoes of Resilience at the Harvey Milk Photo Center and an international exhibition in Mexico City featuring members of the Japanese photography collective Samurai Foto.
