Curatorial Projects
Ann Trinca has curated numerous exhibitions working for nonprofit organizations and commercial galleries. From small spaces to large established museums, Ann seeks to create environments that are visually exciting and leave lasting impressions. From 2003 to 2005, she ran the off-site gallery of the di Rosa Preserve: Art & Nature presenting rotating exhibitions that highlighted artists from the di Rosa collection. In 2010 and 2012, she curated the biennial MFA Selections in the di Rosa Gatehouse Gallery. In 2007 Ann launched a pop-up gallery space with photographer Norma I. Quintana - the hybrid art and retail space hosted local artists and creative events in Napa, CA. In 2013 the Napa Valley Museum invited her to curate the inaugural Napa Valley Collects which featured work from 30 Napa Valley collectors including Margrit Mondavi, Francis Ford and Eleanor Coppola, Norman and Norah Stone. Recent curatorial projects include an exhibition titled Creative Attention: Art & Community Restoration at the Palo Alto Art Center from January 22 - May 21, 2022; and the relaunch of The Great Wave at Santa Clara University’s Art & Art History Building.
